Newsletter provided to parents with ideas on how to improve their child's interest in reading. The newsletter is sponsored by USDA abd the LSU AgCenter.

As if the Louisiana State Fair and all of its attractions aren’t enough to cause excitement, twenty-six Madison 4-H members and volunteers enjoyed the added bonus of participating in the first annual AgMagic at the fair.

Madison 4-Her's participated in Homecoming events at the LSU Tiger Stadium.

Three local volunteers attended the annual 4-H Volunteer Leader Training held September 23 at the Rayville Civic Center. The theme was working “To Make The Best Better” through improving the quality of 4-H Club experiences.

Use this invitation to encourage new 4-H members to join your 4-H Club. It could also be used to invite parents to attend regular 4-H meetings!

4-H is the most popular club in the nation with more than 243,000 members in Louisiana alone. Besides school and community club activities, 4-H hosts numerous after-school learning opportunities, camps and conferences, trips, contests, awards and more.
