Hot summer weather signals the importance of getting fluids to stay hydrated and prevent heat-related illnesses - especially for senior citizens.

The Thirty-Ninth Annual Assumption Parish Field Day was held on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.

Thirty-four Assumption Parish 4-H'ers attended 4-H University on the LSU Campus, June 17 through 20, 2008. Congratulations to all 4-H'ers that competed at this event!

The Assumption Parish Adult and 4-H Youth Garden Contest was held on May 28. The winners were announced and prizes given on June 24 at the Assumption Parish LSU AgCenter office in Napoleonville.
