These child care providers attend classes conducted by Extension Agent Becky Kelley in the Winn Parish Extension Office. During the classes, the providers do hands-on activities to use in teaching the children they care for.

The 4-H Portfolio is used to highlight 4-H experiences and accomplishments from project work throughout the year. It replaces the 4-H Member's Record and contains the year(s) of your 4-H service. Classes for childcare providers and childcare centers are posted quarterly. For Class A and in-home caregivers, the price is $7.50; for Class B providers, the price is $42.50. (The orientation class is mandatory for in-home caregivers, and the price is $10 for that 4-hour class.)
